SECL Recruitment 2023: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), New Delhi has called in Applications from Competent Officers Eligible for Appointment on the Director (Personnel) Post on a Fixed Term Basis (FTB) in South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) notified vide this SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. Based on the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, notified 01 Vacancy for Director (Personnel) shall be filled up with Appointment of a Suitable Officer as Director (Personnel) in the Pay Scale Rs. 160000 to 290000 Per Month (IDA) in South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.
According to the PESB issued SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the advertised Vacancy for Director (Personnel) Post shall occur on the 1st February 2024 (01.02.2024). Based on the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Experienced Officers Eligible with Willingness for the Director (Personnel) Post in South Eastern Coalfields Ltd., may apply through Proper Channel following the Instructions in the SECL Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose. The Last Date in accordance with the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Willing Eligible Applicants to complete the Online Application Registration Process shall terminate on 23rd May 2023 (23.05.2023).

As per the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification notified 01 Vacancy to be filled up spans 05-Years’ Fixed Term from the Date of Joining. The Vacancy is to be filled up with a Selection of the Director (Personnel):

According to the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, post-Selection, the Officer to be appointed as Director (Personnel) will be entitled to the following Pay Scale.
Pay Scale: Rs.1.60 Lac to 2.90 Lac Per Month (IDA).
According to the SECL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates are explained are hereunder:
Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on the VOD 01.02.2024)
A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 40 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy 01.02.2024) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.
B) Other Candidates: Minimum 40 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Vacancy Occurrence Date) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.
Note: The Minimum Length of Service Mandatory in the Eligible Pay Scale for the Post Director (Personnel) is 01 (One) Year in respect of the Internal Candidates and as regards Others (External), the same is 02 (Two) Years as on 01.02.2024.
The Eligible Applicants should have gained following Essential Eligibility in accordance with the SECL Recruitment 2023 Notification explained hereunder:
A) Essential Educational Qualification:
I) The Applicant should be a Bachelor’s Degree-holder/Graduate with Good Academic Record from any Accredited University/Institute.
II) The Applicant Candidates with Post-Graduate Diploma Or Degree in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management (HRM) or Master in Business Administration (MBA)/Post Graduate Diploma in Management/Post Graduate Program in Management (PGDM/PGPM) from any Duly Recognized University/Institution is desirable.
Experience: The Applicant should have Minimum 05 (Five) Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure out of Previous 10 (Ten) Years in various aspects of Human Resource/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations in an Organization/Establishment.
Other Essential Eligibility Conditions for Selection with reference to the SECL Recruitment 2023 involved are explained hereunder:
As mentioned in the SECL Recruitment 2023 Notification, selection on the Director (Personnel) Post shall be carried out based on Interview for Appointment on the Notified Post.
For Appointment on Director (Personnel) Post, the Public Enterprises Selection Board will attach Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered their respective Services in the Listed Company/ies notified through the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Incumbent’s Tenure as Director (Personnel) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever being Earlier as may also be read in the SECL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection on the Post of Director (Personnel) may be spared for Appointment, should apply through “Proper Channel”.
Note 2: The Applicant on the Date of Application as well as on the Interview Date should be in Employment in a Regular Capacity, not in a Contractual or Ad-hoc Capacity in the Following Concerns:
I) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a Full-Time Functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
II) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
III) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the Annual Turnover is *Rs 1000 Crore or more;
d) Private Sector in Company where the Annual Turnover is *Rs 1000 Crore or more.
