Prasar Bharati Doordarshan News has announced Eight Vacancies for the position of Copy Writer, Bulletin Editor, and Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-III on a full-time contract basis, located at RNU, DDK Shimla. The Copy Writer position requires four people, and the remuneration for this position is Rs. 30,000/- consolidated per month. The Bulletin Editor position requires one person, and the remuneration for this position is Rs. 40,000/- consolidated per month. The Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-III position requires three people, and the remuneration for this position is Rs. 35,000/- consolidated per month.
As per Prashar Bharti Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for all the positions require the applicant to have a degree from a recognized university/institute, a degree/PG Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university/institute, proficiency in Hindi and English, and relevant work experience. The person’s age should be below 40 years for the Copy Writer and Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-III positions and below 50 years for the Bulletin Editor position. The contract period for all positions is two years, which may be extendable based on the requirement of the organization and performance review. The person will be engaged on a full-time basis and not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement. The services will be purely on a contractual basis, and the persons engaged shall have no claim for absorption or regularization in Prasar Bharati.

The last date of applying for the position of Copy Writer has been extended for 15 days from the date of issue of this Addendum.
