Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2023: The District Commandant, Jharkhand Grih Raksha Vahini (Jharkhand Home Defence Battalion), Palamu has invited Online Registration from the Male and Female Candidates Eligible for Rural Home Guard and Urban Home Guard Posts against 1877 (1696 Plus 181) Vacancies through this Jharkhand Home Department Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Dated 25.03.2023.
According to the Jharkhand Home Department Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement all Eligible Candidates with Interest may apply Online up to the Last Date 08.04.2023.
As has been notified in the Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there are 1877 Vacancies to be filled up as hereunder:
01) Rural Home Guard: 1696 Vacancies
02) Urban Home Guard: 181 Vacancies
Note: The Posts Rural Home Guard and Urban Home Guard have been allocated in 50:50 ratio to be filled up.
Based on the Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Age Limits mandatory for Rural Home Guards and Urban Home Guard Posts as on 01.01.2023 are hereunder:
Minimum 19 Years and Maximum 40 Years (Birth Date 01.01.1983 to 01.01.2004 Inclusive)
As per the Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Candidate should fulfill the following Eligibility including Educational Qualification and Physical Standards:
A) Rural Home Guard Post:
Educational Qualification: Minimum 7th Class Pass out.
B) Urban Home Guard Post:
Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation (10th) Passed out.
Physical Standard Measurement:
Male Candidate:
Height:
i) Un-Reserved Category: 162 Cm
ii) OBC/BC Community: 157 Cm
Chest:
i) Un-Reserved Category: 79 Cm (Un-expanded) with 84 Cm (Expanded)
ii) OBC/BC Community: 76 Cm (Un-expanded) with 81 Cm (Expanded)
Female Candidate:
Height:
i) Un-Reserved Category: 148 Cm
ii) All Reserved Communities: 148 Cm
The Final Selection on to Rural Home Guard and Urban Home Guard Posts will be based on Merit. The Selected Candidates will be subjected to Document Verification, Medical Examination and Character Verification.
The Selection Criteria for Rural Home Guard and Urban Home Guard Posts comprises Physical Efficiency Test and Writing Examination, both for 100 (30 Plus 70) Marks.
The Writing Test carries 70 Marks. The Writing Test shall be held according to 7th and 10th Class.
According to the Jharkhand Home Department Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, all Eligible Candidates with Interest should apply Online. The Candidates should complete the Online Registration according to the Instructions prescribed therein.
