NATA 2023: The Council of Architecture (CoA) released the application form for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2023 on 20th March 2023. The application form is available on the official website of NATA. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website. The last date to fill out the application form for the Phase I examination is 10th April 2023. The CoA has also opened the correction window for the Phase I exam on 8th April 2023. The last date to correct the application details for the Phase I exam is 10th April 2023.

NATA is an aptitude test that evaluates a candidate’s natural ability via several testing formats that cannot be taught, learned, or induced. NATA assesses an applicant’s aptitude for a specific field of study, such as architecture. Apart from assessing the specific field knowledge that the candidate has acquired over the previous few years, the NATA assesses a candidate’s cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity, logical reasoning, critical thinking ability, and so on. The NATA is administered for admission to the Architecture program.

The NATA is a national-level test that is conducted thrice a year. A candidate can appear in all three exams depending upon his/her choice. The three different exams are called NATA Phase 1, NATA Phase 2, and NATA Phase 3 respectively. The application fee for this test is Rs 2000 for General category students and Rs 1500 for SC/ST/OBC/Female/Transgender candidates. The important dates for NATA 2023 are tabulated below:

Eligibility Criteria for NATA 2023

The CoA has prescribed the following eligibility criteria to appear for NATA 2023:

Essential Qualification: Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam or diploma with Mathematics as a subject

Qualification Marks: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or a diploma.

Age Limit: The candidate must have attained 17 years as of 31st July 2023.
