BITSAT 2023: Registration Closing Tomorrow, Apply Fast, Know How to Apply
BITSAT 2023: The Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) Pilani will close the registration process for the BITSAT (Birla Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test) 2023 tomorrow, 9th April 2023. The application process for the session-I examination is going to end tomorrow. The registration process for the session II examinations will commence on 23rd May 2023. Interested candidates should visit the official website to apply for BITSAT 2023, as there will be no further extension in the registration date.
The BITSAT 2023 session I exam will be conducted from 22nd May 2023 to 26th May 2023. The BITS Pilani will open the correction window from 16th April to 20th April 2023. The allotment of test centers will take place on 26th April 2023. The BITSAT 2023 admit card for Session I exam will be released on 10th May 2023. The application fee for the BITSAT 2023 exam is Rs 3400 for boys and Rs 2900 for girls. The application fee for both sessions (session I and session II) is Rs 5400 for boys and Rs 4400 for girls.
The BITS Pilani conducts the BITSAT exam for admission to various undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses, and postgraduate courses (M.Sc.). BITSAT is a national-level exam conducted twice every year. Admission is offered at 3 campuses: BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. Around 2000 seats at the above-mentioned campuses are available through the BITSAT exam. Around 3 lakh candidates appear for this exam every year.
The BITSAT exam is held online. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The examination consists of 130 questions. The questions are objective in nature, i.e., multiple-choice questions. The test is conducted to assess the candidates’ knowledge in their subject domain, English, and logical reasoning. The candidate will receive 3 marks for each correct response and lose 1 mark for every incorrect answer. All the papers for engineering and pharmacy courses are common except for mathematics and biology. Students from engineering streams have to solve mathematics papers while pharmacy students will have to solve biology papers. The detailed section-wise distribution of questions is tabulated below:
