UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant on a contract basis. As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 12 vacancies. The salary will be calculated by deducting the pension from the Basic Pay drawn at the time of retirement. The Consultant shall also be entitled to Transport Allowance at the rate applicable to him/her at the time of retirement.
As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 62 years. Candidates should have retired as PPS (L- 11)/ PS (L-8)/ PA (L-7) or at an equivalent level from any Ministry / Department in the Central Govt. (-officers retired from these grades with higher pay levels due to MACP/NFSG may also apply). Candidates should possess working knowledge of computer applications required in the day-to-day functioning of the office with proficiency in typing in English.
