Monthly Salary under MOHFW Recruitment 2023:

Based on the MOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Pay Matrix Levels accruing to Scientist ‘C’, Scientist ‘D’ and Scientist ‘E’ shall be as follows:

01) Scientist ‘C’ Post: Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700)

02) Scientist ‘D’ Post: Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs.78800-209200)

03) Scientist ‘E’ Post: Pay Matrix Level 13 (Rs.123100-215900)

Maximum Age Limit for MOHFW Recruitment 2023:

As per the MOHFW Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Maximum Age Limit (as on Closing Date of Receipt of Application) stipulated for the Eligible Scientist (C/D/E) Posts is as follows:

Age Limit: Not exceeding/Up to Maximum 56 Years

01) Scientist ‘C’ Post:

Specific Requirements: I) The Officers under the Central Government Or State Government Or Union Territory Administrations Or Autonomous Or Statutory Organizations Or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Or Accredited University Or Duly Recognized Research Institutions:

A-i) holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre Or Department; (OR)

ii) with 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Matrix Level 10 Or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre Or Department; And

B) Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MB ChB)/Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) duly recognized by the Medical Council of India Or Post-Graduate Degree in the Relevant Subject with 04 Years’ Research & Development Or Teaching Or Working Experience from the Public Sector Or Government Recognized Institutions.

02) Scientist ‘D Post:

Specific Requirements: I) The Officers under the Central Government Or State Government Or Union Territory Administrations Or Autonomous Or Statutory Organizations Or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Or Accredited University Or Duly Recognized Research Institutions:

A-i) holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre Or Department; (OR)

ii) with 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Matrix Level 11 Or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre Or Department; And

B-i) Doctor Medicinae Or Magister Chirurgiae Or Diplomate of National Board or Equivalent Degree duly recognized by the Medical Council of India; (Or)

ii) Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MB ChB)/Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) duly recognized by the Medical Council of India with 04 Years’ Research & Development Or Teaching Or Working Experience from the Public Sector Or Government Recognized Institutions.

iii) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in the relevant Specialized Knowledge Domain from any Accredited University with 05 Years’ Research & Development Or Teaching Or Working Experience from the Public Sector Or Government Recognized Institutions.

iv) Post-Graduate Degree in the Relevant Subject with 08 Years’ Research & Development Or Teaching Or Working Experience from the Public Sector Or Government Recognized Institutions.

03) Scientist ‘E’ Post:

Specific Requirements: I) The Officers under the Central Government Or State Government Or Union Territory Administrations Or Autonomous Or Statutory Organizations Or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Or Accredited University Or Duly Recognized Research Institutions:

A-i) holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre Or Department; (OR)

ii) with 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Matrix Level 12 Or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre Or Department; And

B-i) Doctor Medicinae Or Magister Chirurgiae Or Diplomate of National Board or Equivalent Degree duly recognized by the Medical Council of India; (Or)

ii) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in the relevant Specialised Knowledge Domain from any Accredited University with 07 Years’ Research & Development Or Teaching Or Working Experience from the Public Sector Or Government Recognized Institutions.

Selection Criteria under MOHFW Recruitment 2023:

Selection for Appointments on all 03 Posts; viz., 01) Scientist ‘C’, 02) Scientist ‘D’ and 03) Scientist ‘E’ Post shall be carried through by Deputation involving Personal Interviews therein.

Engagement Tenure with Terms: On Deputation/Including Short-Term Contract/Contractual Basis in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or Some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 Years.
