IBPS Recruitment 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is looking to hire personnel on a contractual basis for the positions of IT Database Administrator, Analyst Programmer-Windows, and Analyst Programmer-Linux through a walk-in-selection process. Successful candidates will fill up the current vacancies, and a waitlist will be maintained for need-based requirements for a period of six months. The walk-in-selection process will be held on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of May 2023 for the above-mentioned positions. As per IBPS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the annual CTC for all the positions is approximately Rs.8.17 Lakhs, and the contract period is two years, subject to yearly review. Admissible benefits such as leave encashment, normal medical bill reimbursement, medi-claim, telephone and newspaper bill reimbursement, canteen subsidy, etc., will be provided as per the rules.
As per IBPS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the positions are that the candidates must ensure that they fulfill the basic eligibility criteria specified by IBPS in this advertisement. The candidates must produce the relevant documents in original and three sets of photocopies in support of their identity and eligibility, including age, educational qualifications, etc., as indicated in the application form. The eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria. Merely applying for the post, appearing for and being shortlisted in an online examination/interview, and subsequent processes do not imply that a candidate will necessarily be offered employment in IBPS. The selected candidates will have to submit a medical fitness certificate from a civil surgeon/Doctor empaneled with LIC of India/PSBs and Police Verification mandatorily at the time of joining.

The IT Database Administrator will have to maintain data standards, control data access permissions, and privileges, design an efficient database for software applications, develop, manage, and test backup & recovery plans, ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly, work closely with IT project managers, database programmers, and multimedia programmers, and perform any other work assigned by the institute. The Analyst Programmer- Windows and Analyst Programmer- Linux will have to understand requirements and transform them into functional applications, design, create and maintain applications, rewrite/make changes in existing code structure to increase efficiency, and performance, and fix issues, collaborate with peers to design the best solution possible, ensure error-free code that adheres to best coding practices, test, monitor and make better solutions through incremental updates/new features/app optimization, identify bottlenecks and address issues to ensure the best performance, and perform any other work assigned by the institute.

IBPS has specified the following eligibility criteria for the walk-in-selection process for the posts of IT Database Administrator, Analyst Programmer – Windows, and Analyst Programmer – Linux:
Age: Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age as of 01.04.2023, i.e., they must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2002 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. IT/B.C.A./B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent degree for all three posts.
Post-Qualification Minimum Work Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant areas for all three posts.
IT Database Administrator: Candidates should have experience in Database Administration, including DB creation, deletion, Schema design, Metadata, and similar activities, especially of MS-SQL/My SQL. Knowledge of Server Virtualisation and DB Virtualisation, DB Backup activity, Platform-Linux/Windows, and familiarity with Oracle, Postgres, Mongo DB, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) are added advantage skill sets.
Analyst Programmer – Windows: Candidates should have experience in end-to-end (frontend/backend) software development and testing experience using ASP.NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. Knowledge of data handling in RDBMS–(MS-SQL)–SQL Queries, data upload/modification/extraction operation, Node. JS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular JS, Web applications including security, session management, and best development practices, familiarity with any other DBMS, and knowledge of virtual server, virtual DB, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) are added advantage skill sets.
Analyst Programmer – Linux: Candidates should have experience in end-to-end (frontend/backend) software development and testing experience using Python, Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. As per IBPS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for the mentioned job will include a walk-in-selection process conducted in Mumbai, comprising document verification, shortlisting, online examination, and personal interview. Candidates are required to appear at their own expense and will not be reimbursed by IBPS for any costs. Registration for the selection process will take place between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the respective dates mentioned in the advertisement. Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to participate in the selection process.
Candidates must bring all the necessary documents in original along with three sets of photocopies of each document and a duly typed application. If a candidate fails to produce any required documents, their candidature may be rejected. Additionally, the selection process will include an online aptitude test comprising 50 questions with a maximum of 50 marks to be completed in 90 minutes.
