DPIIT Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (MP&PGP), Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has sought Nominations/Applications in respect of the Officers Eligible for Appointment on the Director Post on a Deputation Basis in the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) vide this DPIIT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 11.05.2023 re-issued with an Extended Date.
Based on the DPIIT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, 01 Vacancy for the CGPDTM Director under Pay Level 13 (7th CPC) shall be filled up under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). According to the DPIIT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Eligible Officers with Willingness may apply through “Proper Channel” as per the Prescribed Application Proforma with the Enclosures. Duly completed Applications with Enclosures in respect of the Voluntarily Eligible Officers may be forwarded ensuring Receipt well ahead of the time before the Last Date 09.06.2023. The Cadre Controlling Authority should route the Nominations of Eligible Officers through the DoPT Online Interface.

According to the DPIIT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility stipulated for Appointment of the Applicant Officer as CGPDTM Director is as follows:
Eligibility: The Officers of the Rank of Director Level from the All India Services of any Organized Services of the Government Of India are Eligible for Appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme are Eligible for the Post.
Note: The Officers working in the Cadre with “Cooling off” after a Previous Stint on Deputation, if any, is completed and the Officer is Eligible to be appointed on the Central Deputation as per the Instructions stipulated.
Selection to the Director (on Deputation) Post in the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) shall be carried through by Deputation through Procedure under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). The Post Director will be filled up through the Civil Services Board (CSB) Procedure. The Officer selected for Director Post will be appointed on Deputation with 05-Years’ Span.
The Period of Deputation, including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 05 Years.
