Upper Age Limits under Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

The Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has mandated the Age Limit for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and Reserved Community Candidates (as on 01.08.2022) to be read as follows:

• General Category: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 37 Years.
• Reserved Community: Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits as per the Government Rule shall remain as explained hereunder:

Eligibility for Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Eligibility comprising the Minimum Educational Qualifications and Technical Qualifications for both notified Posts may be read as follows:

i) 12th/Intermediate (10+2) Pass out Or Equivalent from any of the Government recognized Board of Education;

ii) Maulvi Certificate with 02 Years’ ITI Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Note: Bihar SSC would treat any 03-Years’ Diploma in Engineering issued by the Polytechnic as Equivalent to the Intermediate/Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

Minimum Technical Qualification: The Applicants must have in possession the Minimum Technical Qualification as on the Closing Date of the Application.

Selection Methodology under Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

The Bihar SSC mandates the Selection Process involving a Single Paper Test Paper with 135 Minutes’ Examination Duration with 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 600 Marks. 04 Marks shall be awarded for each Correct Response. There will be a Negative Marking of 01 for each Incorrect Answer or Multiple Answers for each MCQ Question.

In order to be considered Eligible for the Selection Process, the Candidates shall need to obtain Minimum Pass Marks in the Written Test. The Candidates shortlisted in the Written Examination shall have to appear in and qualify for the Practical Stenography Test including a Shorthand Dictation followed by Transcription. The Final Selection on the Instructor and Stenographer Post (s) will involve preparation of a Common Merit List to be followed by Counseling of the Candidates, Bihar SSC would exercise the Selection Process as enumerated in the subsequent Part.

Examination Fee for Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Examination prescribed Category-wise and Community-specific are as follows:

Payment Gateway: RuPay/UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.

i) General Merit Candidates: Rs. 540.00

ii) OBC/EBC Candidates: Rs. 540.00

iii) Female Gender (Including Un-Reserved Women Category) and all other Reserved Communities) Resident in Bihar State: Rs. 135.00

iv) All Male Gender Candidates under Reserved Communities: Rs.135.00

v) All the Candidates (Including General Merit) and other Reserved Communities from the States other than Bihar General Merit: Rs. 135.00
