Hindustan Petroleum Recruitment 2023: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Research Associate on a contract basis. As per the Hindustan Petroleum Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extendable up to 04 years.

Ph.D. in Polymers/Polyolefin/Petrochemicals
Candidate with research experience in polymer synthesis and characterization, particularly polyolefin or specialty polymers, polymer product development is desirable. Candidates with experience in polymer catalysts such as Ziegler-type catalysts are desirable.
Ph.D. in Battery Research
Candidates with research experience in the areas of energy storage, Metal Ion batteries, metal-air batteries, flow cells, fuel cells etc., are desirable.
Ph.D. in Membrane Separation and Adsorptive Separation
Candidates with research experience in the area of polymer membranes, mixed matrix membranes, membrane separation processes for gas separation, liquid separation, and water desalination are desirable. Candidates with research experience in the area of adsorbent material development and gas and liquid separation process particularly hydrocarbon mixture separation are desirable.
Ph.D. in Catalysis
Candidates with research experience in the area of heterogeneous catalysis, particularly hydrocarbon transformations are preferable. Candidates with experience in the development of catalytic materials are desirable.
Ph.D. in Materials / Nano-materials
Candidates with experience in the development of inorganic porous materials such as MOFs, zeolites, etc., nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, and graphene and their industrial applications, such as polymer composites, thermic fluids, particularly phase change materials are desirable
Ph.D. in Analytical and Organic Chemistry
Candidates with hands-on experience in advanced analytical techniques such as XRD, XPS, XRF, mass spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and thermal analysis are desirable. Candidates with experience in synthetic organic chemistry and good exposure with advanced analytical techniques are desirable.
Ph.D., in Bio-Sciences /Microbiology/Biotechnology.
Candidates with research experience in microbial bioprocesses with experience working on yeast or bacterial molecular biology are desirable. In addition, candidates with research experience working on bio-fuels such as 2G Ethanol and Algal Biofuels are desirable.

There are breakfast and lunch options available on the property of the workplace, for which a small monthly lump sum cost will be deducted. The insurance premium will be subtracted from the stipend. As part of the performance of their job, they can be needed to travel to other places. Travel costs incurred for work purposes will be reimbursed separately in accordance with entitlements.
