Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023: Eastern Railway, Metro Railway, and Chittaranjan Locomotive Works are hiring applicants for filling up vacancies against General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) quota in GROUP-I E.Rly, Metro, GROUP-II E.Rly, and GROUP-III (E.Rly) in various posts. As mentioned in the Official notification of Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 689 vacant seats for this bumper recruitment drive.
In accordance with the official notification of Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above post is 42 years for UR candidates, 45 years for OBC candidates, and 47 years for SC/ST candidates. As per the official notification of Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will be paid on a Pay Scale level between level 02 to level 06 as per the posts they will assign for. According to the official notification of Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT followed by an Aptitude test, CBAT(Aptitude Test), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. As given in the official notification of Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have at least 03 years of working experience in the relevant field. Candidates need not pay an Application Fee. Eligible and interested candidates should be registered online by filling up details in the prescribed format along with all the relevant documents mentioned in the Notification below on or before the last date. Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognized institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Fitter OR Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the Trade mentioned above.
Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognized institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Fitter OR Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the Trade mentioned above.
GROUP-I Metro
Matriculation/SSLC Plus ITI from a recognized institution of NCVT /SCVT in the trade of Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Wireman/ Electrical Fitter OR Matriculation/ SSLC Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the Trade mentioned above. OR 10+2 with Physics and Maths.
GROUP-II E.Rly
Three years diploma in Electrical/Electronics/ Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering OR A combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Three years diplomas in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR A combination of any substream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
GROUP-III (E.Rly)
Graduation Degree from Recognized University or its equivalent recognized by Govt. Of India.
