A) Essential Criteria:

Educational Qualification: The Applicant should have in possession a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate/Bachelor’s Degree holder with a Post Graduate Qualification MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management from any Leading Institute and a Good Academic Record.

Experience: The Applicant should have gained Minimum 05 Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure during Previous 10 Years in Business Development/Production/Operations/Marketing/Project Management in any Large Reputed Organization.

A.1) The Applicant from the Central Government/All India Services should be holding a Post of the Level of a Joint Secretary in the Government of India or be carrying an Equivalent Pay Scale on the Closing Date of Online Application (16.08.2023).

2) The Applicant from the Armed Forces of the Union Government of India should be holding a Post of the Level of Major General in the Army or Equivalent Rank in the Indian Navy/Indian Air Force on the Last Date of Online Application.

B) The Applicant from the State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE)/Private Sector (PS) should be serving in the Board Level Position Or be holding a Minimum Post of the Level immediately down below the Board Level on the Online Application End Date.

Selection Criteria under Ministry of Railways Recruitment 2023

Selection on the Appropriately Suitable Candidate shall be carried out through Viva-voce/Interview for Appointment on Chairman & Managing Director Post.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered their respective services in any of the Listed Companies.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Tenure of the Incumbent as Post of Director (Projects) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining or up to the Date of Superannuation or until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier.
