As mentioned in the official notification of OHPC Recruitment 2023, the candidates are invited for the post of Electrical Trainee ( Operator (EI), Electrician/ Lineman), Mechanical Trainee (Operator (Mechanical), Fitter), Welder Trainee, Crane Operator Trainee, Wireman Trainee and Store Keeper Trainee. There are 150 vacancies available for the mentioned positions.

Qualification for OHPC Recruitment 2023:

For Electrical Trainee ( Operator (EI), Electrician/ Lineman)-

• HSC with approved trade certificate in Electrician trade from ITI.
• Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrician trade from NCVT will be preferred.

For Mechanical Trainee (Operator (Mechanical), Fitter)-

• HSC with approved trade certificate in Fitter trade from ITI.
• Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter trade from NCVT will be preferred.

For Welder Trainee-

• HSC with approved trade certificate in Welder trade from ITI.
• Candidates possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in the Welder trade from NCVT will be preferred.

For Crane Operator Trainee-

• Must have passed the 10th examination from the recognized Board.
• Must have a valid Workman-C permit issued by the appropriate licensing authority.
• Must have a minimum of 05 years of experience in operating Electrical Overhead Travelling Cranes, handling a minimum of 100 T of load. OR
• Candidates possessing ITI in Motor Mechanic / Crane Operator trade from a recognized institute.

For Wireman Trainee-

• HSC with approved trade certificate in Wireman trade from ITI.
• Candidates possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Wireman trade from NCVT will be preferred.

For Store Keeper Trainee-

• Commerce Graduate.
• 01-year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from a recognized institution

Age Limitation for OHPC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of OHPC Recruitment 2023, the candidate should be a minimum age of 18 years and should not be above 38 years as of 01-08-2023.

Salary for OHPC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OHPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.22,700.

Tenure for OHPC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of OHPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be engaged for a training period of 01 year, unless otherwise extended.

Selection procedure for OHPC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification  for OHPC Recruitment 2023, interested and desirous candidates qualifying in the written test (CBT) shall be shortlisted for document verification at Bhubaneswar. The selected individuals will be offered a position based on merit. However, the final appointment of selected applicants will be subject to their medical fitness as per the stipulated standard and verification of specified testimonies, and the trainee would be assigned to any of the OHPC and its subsidiaries’ units/project sites/officers.
