UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification Out for Various Posts: Check Vacancies, Posts, Age, Salary, Qualification and Application Procedure

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of Harvest Technologist, Senior Scientific Assistant, Deputy Central Intelligence Officer, Junior Scientific Officer and Specialist Grade III in several departments. According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, there are 29 openings for the above-mentioned posts. The maximum age restriction is up to 40 years to apply for the given post. The chosen applicants will be paid a monthly salary up to Level 11 of the pay matrix as per the 7th CP. 

In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a Recruitment Test followed by an interview. Candidates will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of the interview being 100. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online through the official website on or before the last date. As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the application fee is Rs.25 and Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from payment of the fee. Qualification and Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Harvest Technologist-

  • Masters degree in Post-Harvest Technology or Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology from a recognized University or Institute with National Eligibility Test qualification.

Experience-

  • Five years regular experience in Post Harvest Management in the field of Horticulture or Agriculture from Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or public sector undertaking or statutory autonomous organization or recognized research institution or Universities.

For Senior Scientific Assistant (Aeronautical)-

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University. OR
  • Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) OR
  • Associate Member of Aeronautical Society of India (AMASI) (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

Experience-

  • One year experience in relevant field i.e. Aeronautical from a recognized organization.

For Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemical)-

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization. OR
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry from any recognized University. OR
  • Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

For Senior Scientific Assistant (Computer)-

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Computer from a recognized organization. OR
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science from any recognized University. OR
  • Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Computer from a recognized organization. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

For Senior Scientific Assistant (Electronics)-

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics from a recognized organization. OR
  • Master’s Degree in Electronics or in Physics with Electronics as a special subject. OR
  • Degree from Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics from a recognized organization (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) OR
  • Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics from a recognized organization (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

For Specialist Grade III (Anaesthesiology)-

  • A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Post-Graduate degree or diploma in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology); or Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology); or Diplomate National Board (Anaesthesiology); or Post Graduate Diploma in Anaesthesiology.

Experience-

  • At least three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate degree or five years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate diploma.

For Junior Scientific Officer (Biology)-

  • Masters Degree in Botany or Zoology or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology or Genetics or Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognised university. OR
  • B.E or B. Tech. in Biotechnology from a recognised university.

Experience-

  • Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field of Biology in any Central and State Organisation or recognised institute or university or forensic science laboratories under Central Govt. and State Govt.

Desirable-

  • Experience of working in a forensic science laboratory.

Tenure for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the people chosen will be placed on probation in accordance with the rules. The selected candidates will be posted at the locations specified against specific posts, otherwise wherever throughout India.
