KMC Recruitment 2023: Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is inviting medical professionals for the engagement of Medical Officers for its Urban Health and Wellness Centre in the Kolkata City Area purely on a contractual basis. As per the KMC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be recruited for 26 available vacancies through walk-in interviews. Candidates with disabilities are able to apply for two reserved positions. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.60,000. The maximum age limit of eligible and interested candidates shouldn’t be 67 years as of 1st January 2023. The candidates should have MBBS Degree from an MCI-recognized Institute with 1-year compulsory internship and West Bengal Medical Council Registration. The duty hours of the above-recruited Medical Officer shall be 8 hours.
