As stated in the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, applications will be accepted from qualified individuals for the positions of Field Engineer (IT), Jr. Field Engineer (IT), Field Officer (Architecture) and Field Officer (Strategic Management/ International Business) on a contract basis. There are a total number of 16 vacancies available for the mentioned positions.

Age Limitation for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

For Field Engineer (IT)-

• The candidates should have full-time B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University of India

For Jr. Field Engineer (IT)-

• The candidates should have Full Time Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University of India.

For Field Officer (Architecture)-

• The candidates should have a full-time Degree in Architecture from a recognized Institute/University in India.

For Field Officer (Strategic Management/ International Business)-

• The candidates should have graduated with two years full-time MBA/Post Graduate Diploma with specialization in Strategic Management/ International Business.

Remuneration for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates for the mentioned positions will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs.60000.

• The selected candidates of Field Engineer (IT)/ Field Officer (Architecture)/ Field Officer (Strategic Management/ International Business) will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 60000 per month.
• The selected candidates of Jr. Field Engineer (IT) will be given fixed remuneration of Rs. 45000 per month.

Test Centres for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, the candidate for the post of Field Engineer (IT)/ Field Officer (Arch)/Field Officer (Strategic Management/ International Business), candidates have to choose from the following test centres:

• New Delhi
• Chandigarh
• Dehradun
• Bilaspur/Kangra/ Una/ Solan/ Hamirpur/ Mandi/ Shimla

Candidates for the position of Junior Field Engineer (IT) must select one of the following exam centres:

• Himachal Pradesh (Bilaspur/Kangra/ Una/ Solan/ Hamirpur/ Mandi/ Shimla)
• Chandigarh
• Mohali
• Dehradun

Place of Posting for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be posted in anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Project/Stations or offices of SJVN.

Application Fee for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023,  the applicants from the General, EWS, and OBC categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 300 + GST 18% for engagement as Junior Field Engineers (IT) and Rs 600 + GST 18% for engagement as Field Engineers/ Officers (IT/Architecture/Strategic Management/International Business). Candidates who are SC/ST/PWD are excused from paying the application fee.

Contract for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

As informed in the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s employment is temporary and on a contract basis for an initial length of 03 years. The contract length may be extended yearly for another 02 years based on the job requirements and performance of the candidates.

Selection Procedure for SJVN Recruitment 2023:

For Field Engineer (IT)/ Field Officer (Architecture)/Field Officer (Strategic Management/International Business)-

• The candidate’s selection process consists of a Computer Test/Written test followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. Marks obtained in CBT/Written Test shall carry a weightage of 75 %, Group Discussion weightage of 10% and Personal Interview shall carry a weightage of 15%.

For Junior Field Engineer (IT)-

• The candidate’s selection process involves a computer-based Test/Written Test only. The provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

As given in the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, the qualified and eligible candidates would be required to apply online by visiting the SJVN website and submitting their applications online. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted on or before the deadline.

The application form must be submitted before 14-11-2023. Applications submitted after the deadline will be REJECTED.
