MEA Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is looking for hard-working and eligible candidates to fill the post of Director (Library and Information) on a deputation basis. There is only one vacancy available for the mentioned post. According to the official notification of the MEA Recruitment 2023, candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognised university or institute and should have 10 years of experience in a library under the Central or State Government. The maximum age allowed for appointment by deputation (including short-term contracts) should be 56 years.
By the official notification of the MEA Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates will receive an annual salary of Rs. 78800 to Rs. 209200 under the pay matrix Level 13. The tenure of deputation (including short-term contracts) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or another Central Government organisation or department shall generally not exceed 5 years.
