According to the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2023, interested and willing candidates are encouraged to apply for the positions of Executive Branch(General Service 9GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre), Air Traffic Controller (ATC), Naval Air Operations Officer (erstwhile Observer), Pilot and Logistics), Education Branch and Technical Branch (Engineering Branch {General Service (GS)}, Electrical Branch {General Service (GS)} and Naval Constructor). There are a total of 224 open positions for the aforementioned positions.

Qualification for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2023, the candidates required qualifications are mentioned below:
For General Service (GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre)-
The applicants must have BE/B. Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

For Air Traffic Controller (ATC), Naval Air Operations Officer (erstwhile Observer), Pilot –

• The candidates should have BE/B. Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. (Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII).

For Logistics-

• The candidates should have BE/B. Tech in any discipline with First Class. or
• The candidates should have an MBA with First Class, or
• The candidates should have a B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Sc.(IT) with First class along with a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management, or
• The candidates should have MCA/ M.Sc (IT) with First Class.

For Engineering Branch (General Service (GS))-

• The candidates should have BE / B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks.

For Engineering Branch (General Service (GS))-

• The candidates should have BE / B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks.

For Naval Constructor-

• The candidates should have BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks.

Tenure for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years extendable by a maximum of 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years) subject to service requirements, performance, medical eligibility and willingness of candidates.

Salary for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are chosen will be paid basic pay of SLt starting from Rs. 56100 along with other allowances as applicable.

Selection Procedure for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2023, the shortlisting of applications will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalised using formulae mentioned on the Join Indian Navy website. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the SSB interview through e-mail or SMS. Candidates are to take a printout of the application and carry it while appearing for the SSB interview. The final selection will be subject to verification of the certificate by the DGNCC/ concerned NCC unit for its validity.
