Age Limit for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

For Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Discipline – Chemical-

• The candidate should have a 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).

For Trade Apprentice (Fitter) Discipline – Mechanical-

• The candidate should have a Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of a minimum 2 years duration with Pass class.

For Trade Apprentice (Boiler) Discipline – Mechanical-

• The candidate should have a 3-year B Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).

For Technician Apprentice Discipline – Chemical-

• The candidate should have a 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engg./Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg.

For Technician Apprentice Discipline – Mechanical-

• The candidate should have a 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.

For Technician Apprentice Discipline – Electrical-

• The candidate should have a 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg. / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

For Technician Apprentice Discipline-Instrumentation-

• The candidate should have a 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation and Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engg, / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

For Trade Apprentice-Secretarial Assistant-

• The candidate should have a 3-year B.A./B.Sc/B.Com.

For Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)-

• The candidate should have a Class XII pass with a Skill Certificate holder in `Domestic Data Entry Operator’.

Tenure for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates for IOCL Recruitment 2023 will be appointed for a training period of up to 24 months.

Selection Process for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

The selection of IOCL Recruitment 2023 will be determined on the basis of a written test. The written test will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four possibilities and one right answer. All candidates who are prima facie eligible will receive call letters for the written exam based on the information they provided in their online applications. A candidate must receive a minimum of 40% in the written test for consideration in the selection procedure. Candidates from the SC, ST, and PwBD categories must receive at least 35% of the required marks to be considered for reserved jobs. Candidates will be summoned for Document Verification based on their position in the merit list and the number of seats available in their respective Trades/Disciplines.
