Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Labour and Employment is inviting eligible applicants for the post of Presiding Officer in Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court- reg. As mentioned in the Official notification of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be placed at Bangalore, Dhanbad-l, Emakulam, Guwahati and Nagpur.
According to the official notification of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023, the process of selection will be done by the Search-cum-Section Committee. The final selection will be done based on the overall evaluation of candidates done by the Committee based on the qualification, experience and personal interaction. Eligible and willing officers need to fill out the application form in the prescribed format and send it to the address given below on or before 11.12.2023.
Eligible candidates are being invited by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to apply for the position of Presiding Officer in the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, also known as the Labour Court.
The applicant will be placed in Bangalore, Dhanbad-l, Emakulam, Guwahati, and Nagpur, as stated in the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
The Search-cum-Section Committee established under the Tribunal Reforms Act 2021 shall scrutinise applications for suitability of applicants for the said posts, giving due weightage to the qualification and experience of candidates, and shortlist candidates for personal interaction to recommend names for appointment to the post of Presiding Officer. The ultimate selection will be based on the Committee’s comprehensive appraisal of candidates based on qualification, experience, and personal interaction.

The candidates who are chosen will be paid by DoPT’s OM No. 3/3/2016-Estt(Pay-II) dated 01.05.2017 and Rule 10(3) of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021. Per the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2023 – Irrespective of the provisions stated in rule 3, an individual occupying or having occupied the position of Chairperson or Member, as applicable, within any Tribunal is qualified for reappointment.
