HPBOSE Class 12 Result 2025: A big mistake was found in the HPBOSE class 12th results. News reports say there was a serious error when checking the HP Board Class 12th exam papers. Because of this mistake, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) had to release new and correct results for 12th-class students. The problem happened because of a mix-up with the English exam papers, which gave students wrong marks.
Here is the pass percentage for the HPBOSE Class 12 Revised Result 2025:

The trouble began when the Class 12 English exam was supposed to happen on March 8, but it was suddenly stopped on March 7. In Chuwari (which is in the Chamba district), the wrong question papers were opened by mistake. They gave out 12th-class English papers when they should have given 10th-class papers.
When the board found out about this mistake, they cancelled the exam and held a new test. But then another mistake happened – when calculating the final results, they used marks from the cancelled paper instead of the new one. This caused students to get wrong scores.
When the results came out, students and teachers noticed something strange, especially with English marks. Dr. Mamaraj Pundir, who used to work with the All India National Educational Federation, was worried about this. He said, “It’s very strange that even the top student got only 90 marks in English but got full marks in other subjects. How can a student who gets 100 marks in other subjects get less than 80 in English?”
The new and correct results will be put up on the official HPBOSE website (hpbose.org). After the new scores come out, students who are still not happy with their marks can ask for their papers to be checked again or request a re-evaluation.
