13 NBFCs and 1 HFC Have Voluntarily Returned Their Certificates of Registration to RBI
Thirteen Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and one Housing Finance Company (HFC) have voluntarily returned their Certificates of Registration that were issued to them by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), using its powers under Section 45-IA(6) of the RBI Act and Section 29A of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987, has cancelled their Certificate of Registration (CoR).
i) Cancellation of CoR due to exit from Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) business:
