Government Amends SAED Rates On Exports of ATF To Rs 33 Litre [Read Notification]

The Ministry of Finance (Government of India) has issued a notification (No. 20/2026) on April 30, 2026, amending excise duty rates under the Central Excise Act.

The Central Government introduced the changes by exercising its powers under Section 5A of the Act, read with the provisions of the Finance Act, 2002, in the public interest.

As per the new notification, the earlier notification dated March 26, 2026, has been revised.

“In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 1, in column (4), for the entry, the entry “Rs. 33 per litre” shall be substituted.”

Note: This revised rate will come into effect from May 1, 2026.
