AECS Recruitment 2023 for Teachers: Check Dates, Qualifications, Eligibility and Other Details
AECS Recruitment 2023: Atomic Energy Central Schools(AECS), Hyderabad is a group of schools run by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. AECS Hyderabad has recently released an advertisement inviting applications for engaging Teachers purely on a contract basis for the academic year 2023-24. As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the vacancies are for leave replacements and other temporary positions and the positions are available for Prep. Teachers, Primary Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers.
To apply for the positions, candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria set by AECS. As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the essential qualifications for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) post include a three-year Bachelor’s degree in the subject(s) concerned or a combination of subjects mentioned in Table-1 and should have Ed degree from a recognized University. Alternatively, candidates can have a four-year integrated Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Regional use of Education of NCERT from any Central Council for Teacher Education in the subjects concerned or a combination of subjects as mentioned. AECS Hyderabad will shortlist candidates based on their applications and only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test. As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the dates and timings of the written test will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through their emails.

As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the open vacancies are available for Prep. Teachers, Primary Teachers, and Trained Graduate Teachers.
As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the upper age limit for the PGT and TGT positions as of 1-4-2023 is 40 years.
However, there is a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit for women candidates. Physically challenged candidates can also avail of the age relaxation as per the norms of the Government of India. For physically challenged candidates, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
It is important to note that the age limit mentioned is the maximum limit, and candidates must fulfill the minimum age limit criteria mentioned in the application form.
As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the salary for the Primary Teacher (PRT) Prep post is Rs. 21250/- per month (Consolidated). Alternatively, for this post, candidates can opt for Rs. 170/- per period restricted to a maximum of 05 periods a day, which makes a salary of Rs. 26250/- per month (Consolidated). The salary for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) post is Rs. 210/- per period restricted to a maximum of 05 periods a day. However, the salary for this post is not mentioned if the candidates opt for a consolidated monthly salary.
As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the mode of selection for the different posts at Atomic Energy Central Schools, Hyderabad (AECS) is a two-stage process. The first stage is a Written Test, which will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The screening process will be made through an objective type of test (MCQs) for 50 marks in the respective subject for 1 hour. Candidates who score 50% or above (General) and 45% or above (SC/ST/BC/Phy.Chal) in the Written Test will be considered for the next stage, which is the Skill Test.
The Skill Test will be conducted on the same day for the shortlisted candidates based on the Written Test. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the Written Test and Skill Test. The selected candidates will be impaneled, and the panel will be operated as and when vacancies arise in AECS Hyderabad during the Academic Year 2023-24. It is important to note that only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Written Test, and the dates and timings of the Written Test will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through their emails.
Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and wish to apply for the different posts in AECS Hyderabad must submit a duly filled-in application with all the relevant Xerox copies of documents. The application form can be downloaded from the official websites. As per AECS Recruitment 2023 official notification, the application form along with the copies of certificates should be dropped in the box placed at the Security Office, the entrance of DAE Colony, D-Sector Gate, Kamalanagar, ECIL Post, Hyderabad-500 062, between 1000 hours on 14.03.2023 to 1500 hours on 18.03.2023.
It is essential to note that applications received after the due date and time will be summarily rejected. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they submit their applications within the specified time frame.
