DMRC Recruitment 2023: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has an immediate requirement for experienced and motivated Signaling and Telecommunication officers to work on Direct Recruitment/Deputation/Post Retirement Contractual Engagement basis. As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, applications are invited from S&T officers of the Indian Railways, Ex-S&T officers of the Indian Railways presently working in other Government sectors/PSUs, and retired S&T officers for engagement on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement basis. The position available is for Manager (S&T) and is provisional and subject to increase/decrease.
As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, The Manager (S&T) will be responsible for the development of CBTC sub-systems, including preparing and checking Signaling Interlocking Sketch/Plan, Route Control Chart, and Bit Chart. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in Railway Signaling Design and must be able to prepare Route Control Chart based on a Signaling Interlocking Plan in compliance with General Rules (GR)/Subsidiary Rules (SR), Signaling Engineering Manual (SEM), and Latest Technical Circulars. As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate must have at least ten years of experience at the Gazetted/Executive level in the Indian Railways, Govt. Organizations or PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the CDA pay scale of Level 11 or IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000-180000/-.

As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Manager (S&T) will be responsible for developing and implementing CBTC sub-systems. The incumbent will be required to prepare, check and design various signaling interlocking sketches, plans, route control charts, and bit charts. They will also be responsible for preparing data for Onboard and Wayside Automatic Train Control (ATC), conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning of EI. Additionally, the CT Expert will design and prepare data for ATC-Onboard and ATC-Wayside, design and prepare the interface design of ATC-Onboard and ATC-Wayside with other external systems, and prepare related documentation. The CT Expert will also be responsible for preparing interface and migration plans.

As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay and emoluments for the CBTC sub-systems The Manager (S&T) position are as follows:
The emoluments are in terms of the extant rules of DMRC. The substantive grade on the regular scale of the candidate shall be considered, and the consolidated fee for the candidates working/retired at a higher grade will be restricted to the emoluments as mentioned above.
As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for candidates applying on a Post Retirement Contractual Engagement basis and Deputation basis will involve a Personal Interview. Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment basis will be screened through a Personal Interview and a Medical fitness examination, which will be in the Executive/Technical category. The ratio of candidates called for the Interview will be 1:5, subject to the availability of eligible candidates.
The selection process will evaluate various aspects such as knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness. Candidates must qualify/pass the Screening Process and the Medical examination to be considered suitable for selection. Candidates who fail the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment, and the decision of the Corporation on this issue will be final. For candidates applying for the post on direct recruitment basis, their character and antecedents will be examined before the appointment, and they will have to execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 3,00,000/- & cost of training to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of three (03) years or till attaining the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier. They will also be on probation for a period of Two (02) years, including the period of training and exclusive of the period in which one remained on LWP or EOL. Three months prior notice will be required before seeking resignation from the Corporation.
