Sub: Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Amendment Rules, 2019
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Amendment Rules, 2019 which shall come into force from 30.04.19 wherein Rule 12A related to Directors KYC has been amended as under:-
Before Amendment:-
Every individual who has been allotted a Director Identification Number (DIN) as on 31st March of a financial year as per these rules shall submit e-form DIR-3 KYC to the Central Governmenton or before 30th April of immediate next financial year.
After Amendment
Every individual who has been allotted a Director Identification Number (DIN) as on 31st March of a financial year as per these rules shall submit e-form DIR-3 KYC to the Central Governmenton or before 30th June of immediate next financial year.
Form DIR-3 KYC is required to be filed on or before 30th June of immediate next financial year
