[Big News] Haryana CM announces one-time Pre-GST settlement scheme
The Hon'rble Chief Minister of Haryana has announced the One-Time Settlement Scheme for Pre-GST Tax Liabilities.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the One Time Settlement-2023 (OTS) Scheme in response to a long-standing request from Haryana's trader and business sector to settle pre-GST tax liabilities.
The scheme will be in effect from January 1, 2024 until March 30, 2024. According to an official announcement, the OTS-2023 schemes allows firms to settle pre-GST tax liabilities from January 1, 2024 to March 30, 2024.
Taxes are divided into four categories, with exemptions from interest and penalties for situations involving seven tax acts in place before GST. In addition, Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced the establishment of a GST Training Institute in partnership with HIPA, Gurugram.
