Bihar Board Class 10th Result 2023 Announced, Check Toppers List and Result

Bihar Board Class 10th Result 2023: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) declared the Bihar Board class 10th result 2023 today (31st March 2023) around 1:36 pm. The result was announced through a press conference by the Education Minister of Bihar, Prof. Chandra Shekhar, and BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor in the presence of other BSEB officials. The result has been published on the official website of the BSEB. Candidates who had appeared for the Bihar Board class 10th exam 2023 can view their results by visiting the official website.

The overall pass percentage this year stands at 81.04 %. 16,10,657 students appeared for the Bihar board class 10th exam 2023, out of which 13,05,203 passed. 6,61,570 boys and 6,43,633 girls cleared the class 10th examination. This year, there are 90 students in the top ten rank. Mohammad Rumman Ashraf of Islamia High School Sheikhpura has topped the BSEB class 10th examination 2023 by scoring 489 marks out of 500 (97.8%). There are two students in the 2nd rank and three students in the 3rd rank. 10 students from the Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya have appeared in the top ten rankings. Like last year, the Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya has given the highest number of Bihar Board class 10 toppers. The list of toppers has been tabulated below:

The BSEB released the official notification on its official Twitter handle, mentioning the date and time of the result. The official result was declared at 1:36 pm ( a little late than the expected 1:15 pm). This year’s pass percentage (81.04 %) is better than the previous pass percentage of 79.88%. Some important highlights for the Bihar Board Matric result 2023 are given below:

Number of students scoring first division: 4,74,615 (2,73,933 boys and 2,00,682 girls)

Number of students scoring second division: 511623 (2,49,311 boys and 2,62,312 girls)

Number of students scoring third division: 2,99,518

Number of students scoring pass division: 19,447

Girls’ pass percentage: 78.51 % (approx)

Boys’ pass percentage: 83.64% (approx)

Overall pass percentage: 81.04%

How to Download class 10th result 2023

Students who have appeared for the class 10th exam 2023 can view and download their results by visiting the official website of the BSEB. Students can also get their results through SMS. The procedure to check the results by SMS and online has been described below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the BSEB

Step 2: Click on the “BSEB matric result 2023” link

Step 3: The BSEB class 10th result window will appear on your screen

Step 4: Enter the required details like roll number, roll code, and captcha code, and click on submit button

Step 5: Your BSEB class 10th result 2023 will appear on the screen

Step 6: Take a printout for future reference

The online mark sheet is provisional. Students will have to collect their original mark sheets for their respective schools. The BSEB will begin the application process for re-evaluation for Bihar board class 10 from 3rd April 2023. The board will notify the dates for the compartmental exam on its official Twitter and Facebook handles. Candidates scoring less than 33% or grade E in their exam will have to appear for the compartment exam.
