Selection Procedure under CSBC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Procedure under CSBC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement for Bihar Police Constable (General/Armed) Cadre consists of 02 Stages followed by Merit List Preparation.

Selection for the Bihar Police Constable Post consists of 02 Stages and shall be conducted as follows:

Stage 01) OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination followed by Stage 02) Physical Standards and Efficiency Test aimed to preparing Merit List.

i) The OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination with 02-Hours’ Examination Duration will comprise a Single Paper.  The Single Paper shall have 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 100 Marks. The Candidates having obtained Minimum Qualifying 30 Marks (Qualifying nature) will be considered Eligible both for Physical Standards and Physical Efficiency Test.

ii) The Physical Efficiency Test carries 100 Marks.  Merit List shall be prepared on the basis of the Marks obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test with 03 Events.

The Physical Efficiency Test to be held will have 03 Events;  i) Race: 50 Marks. ii) Shot-put: 25 Marks. iii) High Jump: 25 Marks

Merit List Criteria: The Central Selection Board of Constable will prepare a Category-wise and Community-wise Merit List based on the Aggregate Marks obtain 03 Categories of the Physical Standards and Measurement Test.
