Blue Dart Express has received a GST show cause notice involving Rs 21.03 crore in tax over alleged excess ITC claims for FY23, along with interest and penalty.

Blue Dart Express Limited has received a GST show-cause notice from the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, the company said in a regulatory filing dated July 23, 2026.
The notice, received on July 22, relates to alleged excess availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and the under-declaration of ineligible ITC for the financial year 2022-23.
According to the company, the notice involves a tax amount of Rs 21.03 crore, along with interest of Rs 14.42 crore and a penalty of Rs 2.10 crore under Section 73 of the applicable GST laws.
The notice has been issued in Form GST DRC-01 under the provisions of the IGST, CGST and SGST Acts, 2017.
Blue Dart said it will examine the contents of the notice and submit its response to the concerned authority.
