BMC Recruitment 2022: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates fulfilling the Eligibility Conditions for the Post Assistant Public Relations Officer. Those persons duly satisfying the Eligibility Criteria for the Post of Assistant Public Relations Officer in Incharge in the Public Relations Department of Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation and are desirous of applying, hence, may submit Online Application Registration. There are 05 Vacancies earmarked for the Post of Assistant Public Relations Officer Incharge. The Last Date for Candidates to apply Online is before 2nd September 2022 (02.09.2022).

Note: Have a valid Personal Email Id and Mobile no., which needs to be kept active till completion of this Recruitment Process. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will inform the Application Intimation for downloading the Call Letters for conducting Personal Interviews, etc. through the Candidate’s Registered E-mail Id. In the absence of an Email Id, the Candidate should create his/her new E-mail Id and Mobile No. before applying Online and must maintain that Email Identification and Mobile Number.

Selection Methodology: Selection for the Post Assistant Public Relations Officer in Incharge in the Public Relations Department of Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation consists of 02 Stages; i) Written Test and ii) Personal Interview.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) shall host a Common Written Test for 100 Marks for the Candidates for selection in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (Also known as) Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). The Candidates having qualified declared Assistant Public Relations Officer Incharge in the Public Relations Department of Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation

Assistant PRO Written Examination Scheme 2022: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct a Written Examination comprising a Computer-Based Test having 20 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type for Maximum 20 Marks And Written (Handwritten) Test (Time Duration) 03 Hours based on (Journalism / Advertising / Public Relations and Mass Communication)follows.

The Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions shall be on Mumbai/Local Self-Government Information related to Institutions / Journalism / Media / General Knowledge / Current Affairs.

Handwritten Test for 80 Marks shall be as follows:
Translation (Marathi to English):  01 Question for 15 Marks
Translation (English to Marathi): 01 Question for 15 Marks
News Papers, On Current Affairs: 06 Questions for 30 Marks
(Marathi & English) (based on Newspapers and Disclosures based on Journalism): 03 Questions each -5 Marks: 30 Marks
(Marathi & English): 02 Questions each for 10 Marks: 20 Marks

Total Marks for Computer Based Test and Written Test are 100

1) Proceed with Online Application Registration

2) Application Fee Payment

3) Scan the Testimonials (Signatures, Most-recent Photograph for Uploading.

4) Keep the necessary Details/Documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite Application Fee/Intimation charges.

A. Application Registration

1. Log on to BMC Website–Click on the Button “Click Here to Apply Online” which will open a new screen.

2. For Online Registration Application, choose the Tab “Click Here for New Registration” and Enter the Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will get generated by the Application Registration System and displayed on the Screen. The Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. The Candidate shall also receive an Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration Number and a One-Time-Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional Registration Number and Password and Edit the Particulars if needed.

3. The Candidates should upload their Photographs and Signature as per the specifications.

4. In case the Candidate is unable to complete the Application Form in One Go, He/She may save the Data already entered by choosing the “Save & Next” Tab. Before submission of the Online Application, the Candidates are advised to use the “Save & Next” Facility to verify the details in the Online Application Form and modify the same if required. *Visually Impaired Candidates should carefully fill up the Application Form and verify/get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.

5. The Candidates are themselves advised to carefully fill in and verify the details filled in the Online Application as no change will be possible after clicking the Complete Registration Button.
