Age Limit for BMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of BMRC recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the given post is  under below-

• The maximum age limit for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer is 55 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Executive Engineer/Manager is 50 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer is 45 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Engineer is 40 years.

Qualification and Experience for BMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of BMRC recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Deputy Cheif Engineer(System Contract)-

• BE/ B. Tech in Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical/ Civil Engg.

Experience-

• Post qualification experience of minimum 15 years in tender and contract management of large value tenders with international agency funding in large infrastructure projects, out of this at least 8 years shall be in metro rail projects having experience in preparation of Tender documents, Tender evaluation and arbitration.
• Candidates with law qualifications will have added advantages.
• Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.

For Executive Engineer/Manager (Rolling Stock)-

• BE/ B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical Engg.

Experience–

• Post qualification experience of a minimum of 10 years in the case of Degree holders and 15 years in the case of Diploma holders out of which 5 years in Rolling Stock.
• The candidate should have experience in handling large value procurement tenders of preferably rolling stock through an international bidding process.
• Should have experience in Rolling stock design, preparation of technical specifications, design evaluation and review and associated interface.
• Candidates with experience in the procurement of Rolling Stock in Metro rail projects will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.

For Assistant Executive Engineer(Contract)-

• BE/ B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical/ Civil Engg.

Experience–

• Post qualification experience of a minimum of 05 years for Degree holders and 10 years for Diploma holders in tender and Contract management of large value tenders with international agency funding in large infrastructure projects, out of this at least 3 years shall be in metro rail projects having experience in preparation of Tender documents, Tender evaluation and arbitration.
• Candidates with law qualifications will have added advantages.
• Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.

For Assistant Engineer(Signalling)-

• BE/ B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engg. Information Science Engg.

Experience–

• Post qualification experience of a minimum of 04 years in case of Degree holders and a minimum of 08 years in case of Diploma holders in Railway/ Metro railways or in an organization carrying out/ implementing Railway/metro signalling projects and shall be involved in the installation and commissioning of the project.
• Experience in CBTC and interfacing with other sub-systems and should have hands-on experience in preparation of tender documents and technical specification, inspection testing and commissioning etc. with hands-on experience in AutoCAD desired.
• Candidates with experience in Signalling works in Metro rail projects will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.

Tenure for BMRC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of BMRC recruitment 2023, the appointment is based on a contract and the period of contract appointment will be 03 years.

Salary for BMRC Recruitment 2023:

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to Rs.140000.

Selection for BMRC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of BMRC recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
