Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), Government of India, has invited Applications from the Individuals Eligible for 01 Post Mental Health Professional for Nomination as Non-Official Member of the Central Mental Health Authority (CMHA) notified vide the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there is 01 Vacancy for Mental Health Professional to be nominated as Non-Official Member (NOM) Position for 03 Years.
As notified in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Willing and Eligible Professionals should apply and complete the Application Submission Process as per the Specimen Proforma well in time Before or On the 30th Date/Day post issuance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
Based on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Notified 01 Vacancy shall be filled up:

Engagement Duration: 03 Years from Nomination
As narrated in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Pay Allowances accruing to the Non-Official Member Mental Health Professional shall be as follows:
Payment Allowances due shall be inclusive of Sitting Allowance, Travelling Allowance, Daily Allowance and such other Allowances as are Applicable to Non-Official Members of the Commissions and Committee(s) of the Central Government attending Meetings of such Commission or Committee.
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Maximum Age Limit stipulated for the Mental Health Professional Post should be aged as follows:
Age Limit: Not exceeding 67 Years
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility comprising Essential Qualification and Experience with other Mandatory Requisites as explained hereunder:
Specific Requirement: The Professional representing Non-Governmental Organizations that provide Services to the Patients with Mental Illness (under Clause (O) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 34 of the Mental Healthcare Act 2017.
Essential Qualification: Any Professional holding any of the following Qualifications:
I) Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in Manovigyan Evam Manas Rog (Psychology and Psychiatry); OR
II) Post-Graduation in Homeopathy in Psychiatry; OR
III) Post-Graduate Degree in Siddha in Sirappu Maruthuvam.
Experience: Minimum 15 Years in the relevant field.
Note*: Preference shall be accorded to the Individuals with 10 Years’ Experience in dealing with the Mental Ill Patients.
Selection for Appointment on Mental Health Professional [under Clause (i) of Sub-Section 34 of the Mental Health Care Act 2017 shall be carried out through Personal Interview. Only Candidates shortlisted on the basis of Eligibility and Experienced would be called in to participate in the Interview Process.
Note: Preference in Nomination as Mental Health Professional shall be accorded to the Professionals/Individuals with 10 Years’ Experience in dealing with the Patients with Mental Illness.
