Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023: The Office of Registrar General by Order of the Honorable Chief Justice, Bombay High Court has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Recruitment on Law Clerk Posts notified by this Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement Dated 2nd March 2023 (02.03.2023). According to the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 50 Vacancies to be filled up with Suitable Appointments in Bombay (27 Vacancies) Nagpur (09 Vacancies) and Aurangabad (14 Vacancies) under the High Court of Judicature, Bombay.

Based on the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued those Eligible with Willingness may apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma. The Last Date for the Intending Candidates shall close on 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023).

List of the Eligible Candidates shortlisted for Interviews would be put up for display on 5th April 2023 (05.04.2023) on the Website.

The Interviews for the Shortlisted Candidates for selection on Law Clerk Posts shall be conducted commencing from 17th up to 21st April 2023.

The Results of Interviews, post Announcement, shall be published/displayed on the Website.

On the Establishment of High Court of Judicature in Bombay: 50 Vacancies

01. Principal Seat in Bombay: 27 Vacancies

02. Bench in Nagpur: 09 Vacancies

03. Bench in Aurangabad: 14 Vacancies

Monthly Honorarium under Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023:

According to the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, each Law Clerk shall be entitled to a Monthly Honorarium explained hereunder:

Honorarium of Law Clerks: Each Law Clerk may be paid a Consolidated Amount of Rs. 40000 Per Month as Stipend/ Honorarium for his Assignment, or such amount as may be prescribed from time to time by the Government.

Age Limits under Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023:

According to the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, General Category Candidates should be aged as hereunder:

Neither Lesser than 21 Years nor exceeding 30 Years on the Date of his recommendation by the Principal of the concerned Law College/by the respective Presidents of the Bar Associations.

Eligibility Criteria under Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, following Candidates are Eligible to apply for Selection as Law Clerks:

A-I: Fresh Law Graduates having passed the Final Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) Examination in the First Attempt with Minimum 55% Marks; Or

II) Candidates having in possession a Master in Legal Laws (LL.M.)/Post Graduate Degree in Law.

B) The High Court may consider giving Preference to the Candidates holding a Post Graduate Degree in Law/Master of Legal Laws.

C) The Candidates must have Basic Knowledge in operating/using Computers/Laptop and Softwares relating to Case Laws.

Selection Procedure under Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023:

Selection on Law Clerk Posts will be carried through as explained hereunder:

Law Clerks shall be selected by inviting Applications through a Public Notice posted on the Website of the High Court and published in any other manner as may be decided by the Selection Committee.

i) Eligible Candidates, who have been recommended by the Principals of the Law Colleges/Presidents of Bar Associations named above will have to appear for a Personal Interview at the High Court, Bombay at their own Cost on the Date and time to be notified to them.

ii) The Selection Committee for such interview shall comprise such Honorable Judge or Hon’ble Judges nominated by the Hon’ble Chief Justice.

iii) Selection of such Candidates shall be carried out on the basis of Merit. The List of Selected Candidates shall be subject to the Approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature in Bombay.

The Applicants should submit respective duly completed Applications together with Individual Self-attested documents upon recommended by the Principals of aforesaid Institutions/ Presidents of Bar Associations addressed to “The Registrar (Personnel), High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay, 5th Floor, New Mantralaya Building, G.T. Hospital Compound, Behind Ashoka Shopping Centre, Near Crowford Market, L.T. Marg, Mumbai-400 001 Latest by 20th March 2023 and Not Later than this Date by Speed Post/Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due (RPAD)/Hand Delivery/Courier. receivable in a Properly sealed Cover superscripted “Application “Application for Appointment of Law Clerk”
