Upper Age Limits under BPSC Recruitment 2023:

As is notified vide the BPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement the Age Limits (As On 01.08.2022) for the Un-Reserved Category Candidates should be as follows:

i) General Category Candidates should be Minimum 40 Years and must not Exceed 55 Years. The Retirement Age is 60 Years.

ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Communities have been enumerated in the Appended BPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

Eligibility for BPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the BPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the prescribed Eligibility for Bihar comprises the Essential Qualification and Experience for Bihar Assistant Divisional Fire Officer Post is explained hereunder:

Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Science Or Bachelor’ Degree in Fire Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering Subject With

Mandatory Qualifications:

i) Divisional Officer Course from National Fire Service College (NFSC)

ii) Must have undergone 03 Months’ Training for Senior Supervisor Official from any of the Central Government Accredited Institute/Organization.

Work Experience: Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in Fire-extinguishing/Firefighting out of which 02-Years’ Experience of Senior Supervising Officer Equivalent Post.

Selection Criteria under BPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the BPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection for the Government of Bihar Assistant Divisional Fire Officer under Bihar Fire Services of Home Department (Police Section) Post shall be carried through on the basis of Merit determined by reckoning the Combined Marks obtained out of the Due 100 Evaluation Weightage Marks:

a) Educational Qualification: Maximum 50 Marks

b) Work Experience: 20 Marks

c) Personal Interview: 30 Marks

Final Selection for Judicial Officer Posts shall be based on the Merit determined by reckoning the Combined Marks obtained in Viva voce/Interview and Due Weightage Marks.

i) Un-Reserved Category Candidate: Rs.100 (Rupees One Hundred) Plus Requisite Bank Charges

ii) Bihar State’s SC/ST Candidates: Rs.25 (Rupees Twenty-Five) Plus Requisite Bank Charges

iii) Bihar State Resident Un-Reserved and Reserved Category Women: Rs.25 (Rupees Twenty-Five) Plus Requisite Bank Charges

iv) General Merit Candidates and all other Communities from across India (other than Bihar State): Rs.100 (Rupees One Hundred) Plus Requisite Bank Charges
