To, Municipal Commissioner BMC Subject: 1. Allowing CA and other professionals to carry on their activities during the lockdown period. 2. Include CA and other professionals under Essential Services and Exempted categories during Lockdown period. Ref: Break the chain order dated 13/04/2021 and earlier orders Respected Sir, From the last few days, we are continuosly being approached by many CA/CS/Architects and other professionals with their grievances that they have not been considered as Essential services / Exempted category to carry on their activities during ‘Break the Chain’ Period. We draw your kind attention that such professionals especially CAs/Tax Consultants are helping hand to Government to collect Revenue for Government, support and help community and department for timely compliances inorder to help them to administer the law smoothly. They provide their services to essential sectors viz. Banking sector, Pharmaceutical sector, etc. Thus ‘ Essential for Essentials is Essential’. Accordingly, such professionals should be exempted and be allowed to carry out their activities during 7am to 8 pm. Awaited your promp decision.
