CBIC Approves Bhogapuram as Authorised Customs Handling Location in Andhra Pradesh
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) under the Ministry of Finance and Department of Revenue recently issued a notification (No. F. No. 394/112/2020-cus(AS)) on January 14, 2026, regarding specific places where imported and exported goods may be legally handled.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, in powers given by section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52), makes changes in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 61/94-Customs (N.T.).
The Central government approved Bhogapuram as a premises to unload imported goods and load exported goods, or for all types of goods in state of Andhra Pradesh.
