The CBSE 10th result 2019 announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today at 3pm. However, speculation were rife that the CBSE class 10 results 2019 will be announced on May 5. The CBSE class 10 result 2019 released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its offcicial websites: cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. Therefore, students are advised to keep their admit cards ready and await their CBSE 10th result 2019. The admit card is important for students as it carries important details such as the registration number and roll number which are required to be entered for checking the CBSE result 2019 for class 10 students.
The CBSE 10th result 2019 can also be checked on other websites such as examresults.in, indiaresults.com and results.gov.in.
The CBSE Class 10 Board Exams were conducted from February 21 to March 29, 2019. Thus, the CBSE will declare the Class 10 results 2019 almost within a month. The admit cards for this year’s board exams were released in February earlier this year. Without the admit cards students were not allowed admission to the examination hall. The CBSE 10th admit card contains all the important information about the student including his/her roll number, centre number, examination dates, examination times, and other instructions.
As many as 13 students topped the CBSE Class X results by scoring 499 out of 500 Out of these 13 students eight are from Uttar Pradesh, two students were from Rajasthan  while one each from Haryana, Punjab and Kerala.
Siddhant Pengoriya and Divyansh Wadhwa — are from Noida alone. A total of 2.25 lakh students scored above 90 per cent and 57,256 scored above 95 per cent.
The Trivandrum region was the best-performing region with a pass percentage of 99.85, followed by Chennai and Ajmer with 99 and 95.89 respectively. Delhi ranked second last with a pass percentage of 80.97 and Guwahati was last with 74.49.
Like Class 12 results, the Board has declared the class 10 result in record time. The board declared the result within 38 days of the last Class 10 exam. Last year Class 10 results were announced after 55 days of the exam.
Last week, CBSE also declared the class 12 result in a record time of 28 days, compared to 42 days last year. Girls outshone boys in the class 12 CBSE examination with Ghaziabad’s Hansika Shukla and Muzaffarnagar’s Karishma Arora topped the exam sharing with a score of 499 out of 500 marks. The pass percentage for Class 12 jumped by 0.31 per cent this year to 83.4 per cent. Girls had a pass percentage of 88.70, 9 percentage points more than that of boys’ 79.40 percent
