The CBSE has released results for CBSE Class 10th exam 2023 today. Girls outshine boys by scoring a pass percentage of 94.25% as compared to boys' pass percentage of 92.27%.

CBSE Class 10th Result 2023: Girls Outperform Boys Again, Overall Pass Percentage Decreases, Check Result Trends
CBSE Class 10th Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education, abbreviated as CBSE, has released the results for the CBSE Class 10th exam 2023 today, 12th May 2023. The result link to view the result online on the official website was activated at around 1:19 pm. Students who have appeared for the exam this year can check their results by entering the details mentioned in their admit card. The overall pass percentage this year is 1.28% less than that of the previous year.
The CBSE conducted the class 10th examinations for 2023 in the month of February and March 2023. The CBSE Class 10th exam started on 15th February 2023. The last examination was held on 21st March 2023. Around 21.8 lakh students registered for this exam. The number of boys students registered for this exam was 12.4 lakh. Around 9.39 lakh female students registered to appear in the CBSE class 10th exam 2023. 10 students from the “other category” also registered for the CBSE class 10th exam 2023. The exam was conducted in more than 7200 centers and in 26 countries around the world.
Continuing the trend, this year too the girls have outperformed boys. The pass percentage of girls is 1.98% more than the pass percentage of boys. But the overall pass percentage decreased this year by 1.28%. The last year’s overall pass percentage for class 10th was 94.40% while this year it stands at 93.12%. The Class 10th result saw a similar trend as was seen earlier in the Class 12th result, whose pass percentage also decreased this year. The Board has early announced that the toppers list will not be released this year. Keeping its promise, the board did not release the toppers list or merit list. To discourage unhealthy competition, the CBSE has decided not to publish a merit list or give first/second/third division to its students who passed the CBSE Class 10th result in 2023. The top 0.1% of students who received the highest scores in the subjects will be awarded a merit certificate.

Step 2: Click on the link “Secondary School Examination (Class X) Results 2023”
Step 3: Enter your login details asked in the result window, and click on submit button
Step 4: Your CBSE class 10th result 2023 will appear on the screen
Step 5: Take a printout of the result for future reference
