CBSE Compartment Exams 2024: CBSE Classes 10th and 12th Compartment Exam 2024 to Begin from July 15, 2024

CBSE Compartment Exams 2024: The authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam schedule for Classes 10th and 12th Compartment 2024 on the official website, cbse.gov.in. The candidates who are planning to appear for the compartment exam must visit the entire date sheet thoroughly. The exam for CBSE Classes 10th and 12th Compartment Exams 2024 will be organised from July 15 to July 22, 2024. The date sheet has been released following the publication of the list of candidates (LOC). To participate in the CBSE Compartment Exams 2024, schools must submit the LOC through the Exam Sangam link. Only students whose names have been submitted through the online process will be eligible to appear for the CBSE Compartment Exams 2024.

This year, 2024 a total of 1,32,337 of the candidates are eligible to appear for the CBSE Class 10th Compartment Exam and 1,22,170 of the candidates are eligible to appear for the CBSE Class 12th Compartment Exam. The majority of the CBSE Class 10th Compartment Exam are set to be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm while on July 22, the Computer Application and Information Technology exams will be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. However, all the CBSE Class 12th Compartment Exams are set to be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, except for subjects like Hindustani Music, Painting, Commercial Art, various dance forms, Yoga, and Artificial Intelligence, which will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

CBSE Class 10 students are allowed to appear in supplementary exams for two subjects, while Class 12 students are only allowed to appear for any one subject in order to improve their performance. Said the CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, “Class 12 students will have an opportunity to enhance their marks through a supplementary exam in one subject, while Class 10 students can do so in two subjects.”

As per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the CBSE has renamed the “Compartment” examination to the “Supplementary” examination. Has said that the CBSE Compartment Exams 2024 will be conducted based on the same syllabus as the main board exam.

The CBSE Board Results 2024 were declared on May 13, 2024. A total of the students successfully passed the Class 10th examination 2024 and 87.98 percent of the students passed the Class 12th examination 2024. Last year 2023, a total of 87.3 per cent of the students cleared the class 12th examination, with 24,068 students securing over 95% marks. This year performance of the students has increased as compared to the last year.
