CBSE Revaluation 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced its Class 10th and 12th Result on 13th May 2024. 22,81,225 students from 25,726 schools in 82 courses from 26 different countries, including India, registered for the class X 2024 examinations. Based on the courses these students presented and the estimated 1,48,27,963 answer booklets that were examined, 1700041 students from 18418 schools across 120 disciplines from 26 other countries and India were registered for class XII 2024 examinations. Based on the courses these students provided, about 1,10,50,266 answer booklets were reviewed.

Students who are dissatisfied with their grades now have the option to participate in the marks verification and reevaluation process, which starts on 20th May 2024 for class 10th and Class 12th the marks verification and reevaluation process, which starts on 17th May 2024.

The procedure of re-evaluation involves multiple steps, all of which can be completed online: photocopy requests, mark verification, and question re-evaluation. There is a fee for each level that varies based on the subject and can be anywhere from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000.

How to Apply for the CBSE Re-Evaluation Process 2024:

The re-evaluation process consists of three phases that must be performed online at the CBSE portal, cbse.gov.in. There are no paper forms to complete.

Step 1: Candidates must first apply for verification. The board will then verify the final score and ensure that the examiner has correctly marked every question. The outcome of the verification request will then be made public online and may result in mark changes.
Step 2: Following verification, students can choose to accept the modified result or go ahead and get a photocopy of their answer papers. Students have access to copies of their response papers online for review.
Step 3: If students are dissatisfied with their grades after this phase, they can opt to reconsider, focusing on specific questions rather than the entire answer sheet. The cost is calculated on a per-question basis, and students are free to reevaluate as many questions as they choose. The board will make available an updated mark sheet via DigiLocker once the revaluation process is finished. However, a printed copy of the revised mark sheet is only available following the submission of the original mark sheet.
