CCI Recruitment 2023: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is currently seeking to fill the position of Chairperson and has extended the application deadline to March 27th, 2023. As per CCI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will be required to serve at the CCI headquarters in Delhi and must possess professional experience of not less than fifteen years in international trade, economics, business, commerce, law finance, accountancy, management, industry, public affairs, or competition matters, including competition law and policy.
As per Section 8(2) of the Competition Act, 2002, the Chairperson is expected to possess special knowledge, ability, integrity, and standing that may be useful to the Commission, as determined by the Central Government. As per CCI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Chairperson shall be paid a consolidated monthly salary of Rupees four lakh fifty thousand only and will not be entitled to a house and car. The term of the Chairperson will last for five years from the date of joining the post or until the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
