Monthly Salary Pay under Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023:

According to the Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Salary Payments with the Academic Pay Levels accruing to the Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Chairman are as follows:

01: Chairman, Professor: Academic Pay Level 14 (Rs.144200)

02) Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A (Rs.131400)

03) Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level 10 (Rs.57700)

Maximum Age Limits for Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023:

As per the Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued, the Maximum Age Limits stipulated in respect of the General Category Candidates as on the Closing Date of the Application Submission for the opted Posts are as follows:

Assistant Professors: Maximum 35 Years

Note: Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates are as per the Government of India Rules.

b) The Superannuation Age for Teachers in the Central Agricultural University, Imphal is 65 Years.

Eligibility Criteria for Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications with Other Criteria duly determined and succinctly prescribed are as follows:

01) Chairman/Professor Post:

Essential:

I) Master’s Degree in the Relevant Subject including Relevant Basic Sciences with Minimum 55% or Equivalent Grade Point.

II) Good Academic Record with a Ph.D. (Doctor Philosophiae) in Relevant Discipline.

III) Experience: Minimum 10 Years’ Experience of Teaching/Research/Extension Education, of which at least 03 Years should be Associate Professor or Equivalent in Pay Band 04 (Level 13A).

IV) Experience of Guiding the Students at Master’s and Doctoral Levels.

V) Published Work in the form of Minimum 10 Scientific Papers in Journals or Repute with 05 and above NAAS Rating.

Desirable: Contribution to Educational Innovations, Design of New Curricula and Course and Development of Technology mediated Teaching-Learning Resources.

02) Associate Professor Post:

Essential:

I) Master’s Degree in the Relevant Subject including Relevant Basic Sciences with Minimum 55% or Equivalent Grade Point.

II) Good Academic Record with a Ph.D. (Doctor Philosophiae) in Relevant Discipline.

III) Experience: Minimum 08 Years’ Experience of Teaching/Research/Extension Education as Assistant Professor or Equivalent Position.

IV) Contribution in Research/Teaching/Extension Education as evidenced by Published Works/Innovations and Outcome.

V) Published Work in the form of Minimum 05 Scientific Papers in Journals or Repute with 04 NAAS Rating.

Desirable: Contribution to Educational Innovations, Design of New Curricula and Course and Development of Technology mediated Teaching-Learning Resources.

03) Assistant Professor:

Essential:

I) Master’s Degree in the Relevant Subject including Relevant Basic Sciences with Minimum 55% or Equivalent Grade Point. Evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ICAR, ASRB, UGC and CSIR respectively. (Or)

Ph.D. (Philosophiae Doctor) in the Relevant Subject with Published Research papers in Scientific Journals.

Desirable: Experience of teaching Under-Graduate/Post-Graduate Students.

Specialization: To be read in the CAU Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Selection Procedure under Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023:

Selection on to all 04 Posts, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Chairman Posts in accordance with the Central Agricultural University Recruitment 2023 Official Notification shall be carried through Presentation/Seminar/Viva-voce/Personal Interview as explained therein.
