According to the CIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested and eligible applicants will be hired as the Consultant DR/PS/ SO/Hindi Translator in the Central Information Commission on a contract basis. The Commission proposes to compile a panel of officers from individuals who have recently retired from Central Government Services and are willing to be engaged as consultants in the Commission for the positions of Consultant (Deputy Registrar), Consultant (Private Secretary), Consultant (Section Officer), and Consultant (Hindi Translator).

Eligibility for CIC Recruitment 2023:

According to the CIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates should have the following experience and qualifications in the given disciplines.

For Consultant (DR)

The officers should have retired from the post of Under Secretary in the Central Government at the pay level -11 or above. They must have experience in administration, accounts, and in the general working of the Government.

For Consultant (PS)

The officer should have retired from the post of Private Secretary in the Central Government the pay level-08 or above with experience in secretarial work.

For Consultant (SO)

The officer should have retired from the post of Section Officer in the Central Government the pay level-08 or above with experience in administration/accounts.

For Consultant (Hindi Translator)

The officer should have retired from the post of Hindi Translator in the Central Government a pay level-06 or above with considerable translation work experience. He/she must have excellent command of both English & Hindi languages.

Age limit for CIC Recruitment 2023:

The selection committee will contact candidates who have been shortlisted for interviews. A panel would be created of the applicants who passed the interview and would be hired as consultants by the commission.
