Eligibility for CUK Recruitment 2023:

The Central University of Kerala Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement has the following Eligibility Criteria prescribed for Teaching Disciplines explained hereunder:

Essential Qualifications:

For the Department of Management Studies: As per the ‘All-India Council for Technical Education Regulations on Pay Scales, Service Conditions and Minimum Qualifications for the Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff such as Library, Physical Education and Training & Placement Personnel in Technical Institutions and Measures for Technical Maintenance of Standards in the Education (Degree) Regulation 2019’ and subsequent Amendments, if any.

General Requirements/Instructions: 60% for Management Disciplines and 55% for Rest of the Disciplines) in respect of General Category Candidates at the Bachelor’s Degree as well as Master’s Degree Level. Relaxation of 05% for Reserved Community Candidates.

For other Disciplines: As per the ‘University Grants Commission Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018’ and subsequent Amendments, if any.

Relaxation of 05% Marks shall be offered to the Philosiohiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Degree-holders, having obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991

Selection Procedure under CUK Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Procedure under Central University of Kerala Recruitment 2023 for all 03 Posts Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor involves the following Criteria:

Selection on the Notified Posts will be carried through on the basis of Candidates’ Individual Performance in the Interview. The University may resort to Methodology, such as Seminar/Colloquium/Teaching as well.

The Prescribed Essential Qualifications are the Minimum and Mere Possession of the Same does not entitle the Candidates to be called for Interview. Where the number of Applications received is large and/or where it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the Candidates, the University at its discretion may restrict the number of Suitable Candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of the Higher Qualifications/Experience than that prescribed in the Central University of Kerala Recruitment 2023 Advertisement. Further, the University may also fill up the Posts advertised on Short-Term Contractual Basis, if necessary.
