CUO Recruitment 2023: The Office of Registrar, Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, Odisha has invited Online Applications from the Teaching Candidates Eligible for Associate Professor Posts. There are 28 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointments of Associate Professors for 14 Departments.
Among the Faculty Candidates meeting Eligibility for Associate Professor Posts under the Academic Pay: Level 13(A) and are Willing to be Applicants, may complete the Online Application Process up to the Last Date 23rd February 2023 (23.02.2023). Refer to the CUO Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the same.
As per the CUO Recruitment 2023, notified 28 Vacancies to be filled up for 14 Department.
Post: Associate Professor
Vacancy: 28 Posts
As per the CUO Recruitment 2023, the Associate Professors shall be paid the Salary under Academic Pay Level 13 (A) as per 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Scales in various Departments of the University on Direct Recruitment/Deputation Basis.
Academic Pay: Level 13(A)
1) Associate Professor in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Journalism and Mass Communication and Languages:
Essential: i) Good Academic Record with a Ph.D. in the Concerned/Allied/Relevant Discipline.
ii) Master’s Degree with Minimum 55% Marks.
iii) Minimum 08 Years’ Experienced of Teaching/Research in any Academic/Research Position Equivalent to Assistant Professor Post in any University, College/Accredited Research Institution/industry with Minimum 07 Publications in the Peer-reviewed/UGC-listed Journals and Total Research Score Seventy Five (75) as per the Criteria given in the Screening Guidelines for the post annexed to this advertisement (Appendix II, Table 2. of UGC Regulation 2018).
2) Associate Professor in Business Management:
Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D.) Degree in the relevant Field and First Class/Equivalent at either Bachelor’s/Master’s Level in the relevant Branch. And
Minimum 06 Research Publications in the SCI Journals/UGC/AICTE approved Journals; And
Minimum 08 Years’ Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which at least 02 Years shall be Post Ph.D. Experience.
3) Associate Professor in Education
Essential:
i) Post-Graduate Degree with Minimum 55% Marks in Sciences/Mathematics/Social Sciences/ Languages/ Commerce.
ii) Post-Graduate Degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) with minimum 55% Marks
iii) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Degree in the relevant Discipline is Essential.
Appointment on Assistant Professors in various Departments of the University shall be conducted on Direct Recruitment/Deputation Basis.
The Recruitment shall be made in accordance with the Guidelines of the UGC Regulations 2018, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Notification 2019 and National Council for Teacher Education Regulations, 2014 as applicable.
Note: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Degree is a Mandatory Qualification for Appointment to the Post of Associate Professor.
According to the CUO Recruitment 2023, the Application Fee Payable for Associate Professor Recruitment shall have to remit the Payment Online by way of the Payment Gateway
i) Un-Reserved Category: Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only towards Application Fee.
ii) EWS Candidates: Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only towards Application Fee.
iii) OBC Candidates: Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only towards Application Fee.
iv) All other Reserved Community Candidates PwBDs as well as Woman Genders are Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
All the Willing Eligible Candidates shall need to submit copy of their Online Application Formats annexed with all the Self-attested Certificates and Testimonials to ensure that the same reach
