Age Limit for DAE Recruitment 2023:

As per DAE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for each post as of the closing date of receipt of the application is given below:

Direct Recruitment:

I. Technical Officer/C: Minimum Age – 18 years, Maximum Age – 35 years.

II. Scientific Assistant/B: Minimum Age – 18 years, Maximum Age – 30 years.

III. Technician/B: Minimum Age – 18 years, Maximum Age – 25 years.

Training Scheme:

Category I – Stipendiary Trainee: Minimum Age – 19 years, Maximum Age – 24 years.

Category II – Stipendiary Trainee: Minimum Age – 18 years, Maximum Age – 22 years.

Note: Candidate must have been born not earlier than 23/05/2001 and not later than 22/05/2005.

Selection Process for DAE Recruitment 2023:

As per DAE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection method for different posts varies according to the nature of the job. For the Technical Officer/C post, the selection will be based on the performance in the interview, although a Computer-Based Screening Test may be conducted to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview.

The Scientific Assistant/B and Category-I Stipendiary Trainee posts will require candidates to take a Computer-Based Screening Test of one-hour duration followed by an interview. The final selection will be based solely on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

For Technician/B and Category-II Stipendiary Trainee posts, the selection process involves three stages: Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, and Skill Test. The Computer-Based Test will be conducted on an all-India basis for the first two stages, and only those candidates who have qualified in the Preliminary Test will be evaluated in the Advanced Test. Candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test will be impaneled based on their scores in the Advanced Test, and in case of a tie in empanelment criteria, the resolution will be done based on a certain order of preference.
