Grid India Recruitment 2023: Grid Controller of India Limited, Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre, Bangalore is seeking to engage a Consultant (Civil) on a contract basis for a temporary requirement. The job contract is initially for six months, extendable by six months on each occasion, with the total contract period not exceeding two years in each contract. As per Grid India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Consultant (Civil) will be responsible for the construction of multi-story buildings, interior works, electrical installation, execution of civil works, supervision of construction activities, a quality check of materials used for civil works and interior works, and supervision of electrical installations. As per the Grid India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the upper age limit for the Consultant (Civil) is 65 years, and the candidate should have retired as an executive in the grade of E7 & above at the following Pay Scales from Power Sector CPSUs, who have retired on superannuation. The qualification required for the Consultant (Civil) is a graduate in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognized university, with a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before a selection committee, and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. As per the Grid India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the position of Consultant (Civil) on a contract basis in Grid Controller of India Limited, Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre, Bangalore require that the applicant must be a retired executive from Power Sector CPSUs in the grade of E7 and above, who have retired on superannuation. The pay scales for E6, E7, E8, and E9 are mentioned in both pre-revised and revised w.e.f. 01.01.2017 formats. The minimum pay scale required for this position is E7, with a revised pay scale of Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000. Additionally, the applicant must have a degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognized university and a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in the construction of Multi Storey Buildings, Interior works, and Electrical installation.
Furthermore, the upper age limit of the consultant should not exceed 65 years and they should be born on or after 31st December 1958. The consultant will be responsible for various tasks, including the preparation of work estimates, checking BOQ, execution of civil works, supervision of construction activities, verification of civil and structural drawings submitted by the architect, a quality check of materials used for civil works, interior works, and supervision of electrical installation like a transformer, LT panel, solar PV and sewage water treatment plant, rainwater harvesting, campus lights, overhead tanks, and AC.
