Brief Description: Consultants (Sr PS/PS Level) with 05 (02+03) Vacancies

01) Senior Personal Secretary: 02 Vacancies

02) Personal Secretary: 03 Vacancies

Monthly Remuneration under Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Remuneration accruing to the Consultants to be appointed at Senior Personal Secretary/Personal Secretary on a Contractual Basis Engagement shall remain as follows:

01: Senior Personal Secretary: Pay Level 08/Equivalent

02: Personal Secretary: Pay Level 07/Equivalent

Transport Allowance: Rs. 3000

Pension Drawal: Retired Government Officer/Official appointed as a Consultant shall continue to draw Pension and the Dearness Relief on Pension during the Engagement Period.

Maximum Age Limit for Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023:

According to the Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Maximum Age Limit stipulated for both Posts; i.e., Senior Personal Secretary and Personal Secretary is as narrated hereunder:

Age Limit: Should not exceed 63 Years.

Eligibility for Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible, in accordance with the Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, for Both Posts may be read as hereunder:

01) Senior Personal Secretary Post: Officers Retired from the Senior Private Secretary/Private Secretary/Personal Assistant of Central Secretariat Stenographer’s Service or any other Similar Service at Equivalent Level with Relevant Experience as Stenographer with 100 Words Per Minute and Transcription in 50 Minutes thereof.

Desirable: Those having Experience of Working in the Courts/Tribunals/Adjudicating Authority shall be accorded Preference in Selection.

02) Personal Secretary Post: Officers Retired from the Private Secretary/Personal Assistant of Central Secretariat Stenographer’s Service or any other Similar Service at Equivalent Level with Relevant Experience as Stenographer with 100 Words Per Minute with Transcription thereof in 50 Minutes.

Desirable: Those having Experience of Working in the Courts/Tribunals/Adjudicating Authority will be accorded Preference in Selection.

Selection Criteria under the Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023:

As has been notified in the Department of Revenue Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection of Consultants for Full-Time on a Contractual Basis shall be carried through in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training Guidelines.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Remuneration Payable to the Consultants: (Refer to Letter No.3-25/2020-E.III.A of Ministry of Finance (MoF), Department of Expenditure (DoE) Dated 09.12.2020.

A Fixed Monthly Amount/Sum shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the Basic Pension from the Pay drawn at the time of Retirement. The Remuneration Sum, so fixed shall remain unchanged for the Contractual Term. There shall be No Annual Increment/Percentage Increment during the Contractual Period.

Appointments of Consultants in the Levels of Senior Personal Secretary and Personal Secretary for Contractual Engagement for 01 Year or until Regular Incumbents join, whichever being Earlier.
